Pupil Visit from Geldern
On February 5, 2025, 45 school students from Friedrich-Spee-Gymnasium Geldern visited RWTH Aachen and the IKS.
The program included an overview of the study opportunities at RWTH and the diverse perspectives of technical degrees. Afterwards, part of the group had the opportunity to gain their own impressions in a trial lecture on "Sprache in Bits and Bytes" and various labexperiments on speech signal processing. A special highlight on the program was a visit to the IKS|Lab, which immersed the students in the middle of the Aachen Symphony Orchestra, conveying the fascination of current research.
