Seminar "Selected Topics in Communications Engineering"
In the seminar "Selected Topics in Communications Engineering" jointly organized by IENT and IKS, students learn and practice scientific presenting by conducting literature research and preparing a presentation.
They carry out a literature research and prepare a lecture on an individually specified topic from the field of communications and information technology.
This semester, the presentations were held over two days at the Rurberg Youth Hostel. The intensive academic program was complemented by a communal barbecue evening and a hike to the Urft Dam, with a return trip by ferry across the Rur Lake. This allowed the seminar participants to interact with each other, the supervising assistants, and the two professors outside of the presentation sessions.
