Licence Agreement with Elevear
The close cooperation with the RWTH spin-off Elevear is beginning to pay off.
An invention developed at the Institute of Communication Systems (IKS) makes any headphone audio content interactive and more immersive by compensating the user’s head movements. The technology can be implemented very efficiently in the headphone itself, making it agnostic of the playback device and ecosystem (e.g. smartphone, computer).
Elevear, with the team of Stefan Liebich, Johannes Fabry, Raphael Brandis and Elfed Howells, now signed a licensing agreement with IKS to expand their existing portfolio with this technology. Further information can be found on LinkedIn.
