ITG 2023 in Aachen
The ITG Conference on Speech Communication was organized by the Informationstechnische Gesellschaft (ITG) within VDE in collaboration with the Fachausschuss Sprachkommunikation AT3, the technical program committee, and the Institute of Communication Systems at RWTH Aachen.
With 120 participants, the conference received a remarkably high response. Once again, the SuperC proved to be an ideal venue for this type of scientific exchange.
Over three days, discussions revolved around theories, algorithms, and applications in speech, audio, and spoken language processing. The workshop format of previous conferences was maintained through alternating blocks of presentations and poster sessions. Fifty-five contributions presented and discussed the latest research results. The program also featured three keynote talks from academia and industry. Particularly gratifying is that two submissions from IKS, having equal scores, were awarded the "ITG - Best Student Award." More information can be found at www.iks.rwth-aachen.de/itg2023.
The next conference in this series will take place in Berlin in September 2025.
