IKS @ AVAR 2020
This year's "AES International Conference on Audio for Virtual and Augmented Reality (AVAR)" was a very special event: Participants from all over world met virtually in Redmond, USA, to listen to the contributions of Sebastian Nagel ("Coherence-Adaptive Binaural Cue Adaptation") and Maximilian Kentgens ("Translation of a Higher Order Ambisonics Sound Scene by Space Warping").
In spite of all restrictions due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the presentations received a good response. Although the conference participation with VR glasses worked quite well end even spontaneous conversations with other conference participants were possible, we hope for a successful continuation of the conference series in presence in 2022.
