Block Seminar "The engineer as manager"
This summer term the block seminar named "The engineer as manager" took place during the excursion week. Since 2009, this seminar, which is highly attractive for students, has been offered by Dr. Joachim Schläper in the Institute of Communication Systems twice a year.
Within a week, students of IK and TI learn about methods and procedures for self-analysis and self-management. This also prepares them for future management tasks in projects, teams and corporate hierarchies. The softskills learned within the block seminar are not learnable in any other event and are actually a necessity for the practice of an engineer.
