Best Thesis Awards 2022/23
On the occasion of the Scientific Colloquium, two Best Thesis Awards were presented this year, one for the completion of a bachelor's thesis and one for a master's thesis.
Helena Janning received the award for her bachelor's thesis titled "Direction-of-Arrival Estimation in Headphones Using Subspace Methods." Frederick Pietschmann received the award online for his outstanding master's thesis titled "Perceptual Optimization and Evaluation of a Binaural Signal Modification Algorithm."
The award is donated by the Gesellschaft für Kommunikationstechnik e.V. for special, outstanding final theses in the past year.
