Audio recordings and video shooting at the Katschhof
On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the RWTH, a joint exhibition of the RWTH and the city of Aachen will take place at the Centre Charlemagne from October 30, 2021 to February 13, 2022.
Currently, we are preparing a contribution to the exhibit "Communication Technology", in which different audio formats will be presented in a video to the visitors of the exhibition.
For this purpose, Prof. Jax, with the support of Mr. Kühl and Mr. Schrammen, has successfully completed a video recording at the Center for Teaching and Learning Services (CLS). To complete the video, additional field recordings on the Katschhof of Aachen were taken in cooperation with colleagues of CLS. In additon to Prof. Jax's contribution, the chimes of Aachen City Hall were also recorded binaurally. The video, which has yet to be produced, will then be shown and, in particular, heard at the Centre Charlemagne starting in October.
